Just back from 4 weeks on the road, with appearances at the Yackandandah Folk Festival in Northern VIC, Shir Madness Festival in Sydney, and the National Folk Festival in Canberra. Stopped along the way to deliver workshops and concerts in Dubbo, Coffs Harbour, Bermagui and Bega. Thanks to everyone for the opportunity to perform and teach in your communities, and for the warm hospitality offered by all.  Looking forward to returning...

CIRCUS GIRL on Triple J's ROOTS & ALL!

Last night Sarah Howell played CIRCUS GIRL on Triple J's Roots & All.  A work colleague told me that he was driving in his car yesterday, and they announced that one of my songs would be played that night on Roots and All. So, of course I tuned in. I made it until around 11.30, but passed out. After a few late nights and early rises this week, I just couldn't hang in there. This morning, upon waking, my husband told me that at 12.20am he woke up suddenly, and there I was, ringing true on the radio, CIRCUS GIRL was on air. Thanks to Sarah Howell for playing my song.  What a treat!
